Purpose of Marriage

The purpose of marriage in our society is to be with the person you want to live your life. Many people see marrying as the way to finalize the bond between two people. It officializes that those two people want to be with each other. It encourages these people to make their own family and stand together in the society. Many people force the marriage on to themselves because they feel like they have to marry after being in a relationship for a long time while it may be better not to marry for them.
The main purpose of marriage comes down to family. Almost everyone in our society wants to leave something behind to be remembered. In our society many people believe marriage foreshadows children. Many people marry just so they can have kids with "clean conscience". What marriage does in reality is, make two people live their life depending on each other, tolerating the flaws they might have just because they are married. It at times kill of the feelings between the partners because of the issues they have which result in living with each other out of habbit.
